Summa Summa Summa Time!!!

Summer is officially here, YAY!!!  The Peek household is staying very busy and Baylor is keeping up quite well!  Baylor is changing and growing and not slowing down at all!  I was filling out her baby book the other day and she has done all but 2 of the "My first time to..."  It made me so sad!  So happy that she is growing on track, but so sad that it is happening so quickly!  Someone out there in facebook world the other day wrote,"It's sad when our kids grow up, but it's even sadder when they don't."  So true!  In about a month we will be celebrating her first birthday!  I can't believe that it's almost been a year since this little happy bundle came into our lives.  And she is SO happy.  My dad was telling me the other day, "Emily, I don't think you understand.  Your baby is AWESOME.  She is in like the top 1% of all good babies in the world!"  He then followed it up with, "I don't know what kind of toddler she'll be, but she's been a great baby." Hmmm...now why would he think she might turn out to be a stinker!? ;)

She is always making new discoveries...on this night she was very intrigued with the dog kennel...until she couldn't figure out how to get out!

She LOVES to play chase! Luckily her cousin Reese is very sweet and plays with her. :) She's saying,"Are you ready?"

Go!

Hang'n out pool-side...

Have you ever seen anything so cute!? :)

And of course, this is her daddy's pride and joy.  She can kick and throw a ball!

We thank the Lord everyday for our sweet baby girl.  Next month we will go back to the doc and she will look at her eyes again and our prayer is that they have corrected themselves and no further actions or procedures will need to be taken.  Her heart will be listened to and our prayer is that when the doctor listens to it, she hears nothing other than the sound of a perfect one year old's beating heart.  No matter what the future holds, I know that my God is in control and has a perfect plan for Baylor Ann.
